The Andrews brothers are trying out for Eminem's TV show.
We expected to have the Andrews Brothers beasting on the right side of the offensive line this year, protecting McRib and opening holes for BWest 36 and a dude named Shady McCoy.
The only thing truly shady about the Eagles offensive line now is every lineman named Andrews.
Stacey Andrews will not start this week, instead becoming part of a rotation with Max Jean-Gilles. Stacey’s brother, Shawn, visited the IR list this week and is out for the season with a “back” injury.
While Shawn’s injury seems mysterious and could be connected to depression issues from a year ago, Stacey is not injured right now. He says he is healthy. Instead, the big man with the new six-year, $40 million contract feels he needs to work on his pass blocking technique. At least he still wants to work at his craft to earn his money.
Stacey is recovering from ACL surgery last year and is still trying to learn the Eagles blocking schemes. He better get his assignments down soon, or the Eagles might want to consider suing the entire Andrews family for their money back.
