Cole Hamels may get the call in Game 1.
Maybe the Phillies web techs just needed a placeholder? Or, maybe Uncle Charlie and Ruben Amaro have made a decision.
According the the Phillies web site as of Sunday evening, Cole Hamels is listed as the Game 1 starter against the Rockies Ubaldo Jimenez.
Assuming that is the matchup, Jimenez brings a 15-12 record and 3.47 ERA into the game. Hamels posted an uncharacteristic 10-11 record and 4.32 ERA this season.
Look for an official word on Monday regarding the Phils playoff rotation and 25-man roster.
