However, and I am going to write this story up at a later date, they should try to trade Brand and a first to some team for a couple of expiring contracts. The Sixers are one star away from being a legit contender. Some team in need of a name player will take his contract if you give them a first, too. We've had the draft picks. We need a player who knows how to win; a guy who can change the mindset and culture of the team. I agree that Brand is virtually untradeable. Even Dalembert, who's my least favorite sixer, is more tradeable at this point. I along with many people thought the sixers would become a contender with the addition of Brand last year.
