Your DailyPhiladelphian expressed his thoughts on the McNabb debate in Friday’s Philadelphia Inquirer.

To preserve his legacy in Philly, McNabb must be traded. It’s the only way at this point to show the fans what they have been missing the last few years. Like it or not, No. 5 is the best signal caller in Eagles history, yet we want him gone. Why?

Check the op-ed out by clicking here. E-mail us your thoughts at DailyPhiladelphian@gmail.com. We’ll post a mailbag later this weekend as we’ve already had nearly 20 e-mails and the opions are split down the middle.

Philadelphia fans don’t… and won’t appreciate anything short of the Lombardi Trophy. McNabb has had 11 years to accomplish that feat, and failed every time.

Even if Kolb takes over next year, and the Eagles go 6-10, you’re not gonna hear many phans screaming to have McNabb back, Philly just doesn’t work that way.
