Andre Iguodala has been named to the U.S. National Team.
Underachiever Andre Iguodala is one of 27 players selected for the U.S. National Team, according to a tweet from Inquirer super reporter Kate Fagan.
The fact that Iguodala has made a team featuring a number of superstars such as King James, Kobe Bryant and others has to raise Iggy’s profile among NBA GMs. The fact is Iggy is a solid player, but not the go-to clutch guy his contract would suggest.
For the future of the franchise, the Sixers must move his contract for an expiring one if they can. Tracy McGrady and Amare’ Stoudemire are out there.
If Ed Stefanski doesn’t use this to his advantage between now and Feb. 18, then shame on him.
