Word came down today that Allen Iverson will skip the All Star game to be with his daughter who has been ill.
He has missed the last four games to be with his daughter. He was scheduled to rejoin the Sixers after the All Star break.
As long as his daughter is ill, he needs to be, and should be, with her.
We sincerely wish his daughter the best.
While the All Star game may be Iverson’s last, he made the right decision to skip it.
