Phillies fans will have to wait until Friday to hear from Doc Halladay again.
Along with the sound of the cleats pounding the infield dirt and the ball popping into the gloves at the start of spring training, you’d expect to see a slew of stories about the Phillies new ace Roy Halladay.
Wait until Friday.
According to reports on Philly.com, the Phillies have put a gag order on Halladay until he holds a news conference on Friday. Brad Lidge and Cole Hamels will also be available that day.
The reasoning according to Phils officials is that they want Halladay to concentrate on the start of camp and not talking to the media.
Way to make us wait to hear from our Christmas gift.
