Maybe this is a bit premature to put out there, but sources are inferring to me that Sixers guard Lou Williams could be on the trade block.

The source? Lou Williams’ twitter account.

“I’m getting on a airplane… And I don’t know if I’ll be back again….,” Williams tweeted moments ago.

Sixers guard Lou Williams doesn't sound too confident in his return to Philly next year based on his tweets tonight.

In following his tweets this week, we know Williams was in town. He’s likely flying back to Atlanta. The only inference we can make is that Williams has a feeling — or some information — that the Sixers are trying to move him. Maybe even tonight.

The Sixers don’t have a second round pick. Is there someone else they like in this draft who can play defense a bit better than Sweet Lou?

Collins has said he will stress defense. Moving Williams would make sense. He had a starting spot handed to him, and lost that to Jrue Holiday. Some see him as a poor man’s Allen Iverson. The Sixers are now set at the two guard with Evan Turner. Is there a spot in Philly that Williams would be happy filling? Not if he has his heart on starting.

Hope not, yeah, he isn’t the best on D but HE WILL SCORE, and can hit the 3, something the 6ers need.
