The next time someone complains about the “rowdiness” at Eagles games, where there haven’t been many actual fights since the team moved to The Linc, we’ll refer them to NYC. You know, the city whose fans think it’s appropriate to drop the gloves at the U.S. Open. Yes, a tennis match.

On Thursday night, after a round of verbal exchanges, an elderly man had had enough and lunged at a younger guy in an attempt to strangle him. Needless to say, the old man went flying down some steps.

Don’t these people realize tennis is supposed to be dead quiet until a point is earned? Only then can you lightly applaud. Instead, Novak Djokovic and Philipp Petzschner had to deal with some degenerate behavior.

It supposedly all started over a younger guy using the F bomb a couple of times. Who curses at a tennis match? We’re guessing his country club membership will be revoked.

As a result, New York has surged to the top of our Moronic Fan Watch and leads Los Angeles, 3-2.

If, upon further review, the people involved are from cities other than NYC, we’ll make the appropriate changes. until then, New York, you can thank these morons.
