Just when you think he’s trying to be strictly a pocket passer, Michael Vick dashes up the middle to paydirt to give the eagles a commanding 28-3 lead with 17 seconds left in the third quarter.

Vick, who has three touchdown passes — a 61-yarder to DeSean Jackson and a pair to Jeremy Maclin — is showing the NFL he really is back and a legit superstar quarterback.

Michael Vick celebrates a 61-yard TD pass to DeSean jackson in the first quarter of Sunday's game at Jacksonville. Vick has accounted for 4 TDs (3 passing, 1 rushing) so far.

The Human Joystick is 16-of-29 passing for 289 yards and three touchdowns, and has three rushes for 28 yards and the touchdown.

In a nutshell, he’s been responsible for all of the points. While the Eagles offense has looked poor at times, Vick is doing his best to make the big plays count. Hmm, maybe he’s becomingly more and more reminiscent of Rockin’ Randall. (We’ll explore that this week.)
