He was due. You knew it. A year after recording eight TDs of at least 50 yards, it was only a matter of time before DeSean Jackson took a pass down the sideline and outran the competition.
Michael Vick hit Jackson for a 61-yard touchdown that was mostly due to Jackson’s incredible speed down the right sideline.
The score gave the eagles a 7-0 lead and was really the only play that looked somewhat effective thus far.
For what’s it’s worth, Kevin Kolb was the first to slap hands with Vick after the score according to a tweet by the Inquirer’s Jeff McLane.
