Harrison-Bell trade good for Eagles

Some will absolutely disagree and just think the Browns and Eagles traded crap for crap today. Looking at the numbers, the Eagles very well could get the better end of the deal that sent Mike Bell to Cleveland for Jerome Harrison.

Bell has been consistently inconsistent in his career and was never really a fit for the Eagles system. He’s not the best at picking up blitzes and that’s a must on the Eagles, especially behind that line.

Jerome Harrison is ready to ball in the Eagles backfield.

Harrison has just 91 yards this year, which is a surprise after the way he ended last season. Last year he racked up 862 yards, mostly down the stretch as the Browns ended on a winning note. He has speed and the ability to truck for yards.

Harrison is not going to be a feature back, but will be a nice back-up for LeSean McCoy. He just fits the Eagles system and it’d be a small surprise if he didn’t pick up his game in Eagles green.
