Eagles Pro Bowl receiver DeSean Jackson was finally on his way to getting in sync with signal caller Kevin Kolb. Jackson had found the end zone twice Sunday on an end around and a 34-yard touchdown reception to give the eagles a 14-0 lead.

Jackson’s day ended abruptly in the second quarter when he was laid out by Falcons corner Dunta Robinson on a sick hit. Jackson was coming over the middle and then Robinson nailed him with a vicious hit that resulted in a personal foul. Honestly, in the moment and with the speed of the game, these hits are inevitable. Jackson’s head was jerked back as Robinson’s head hit his helmet, but it was not a direct head shot.

Jackson likely has a concussion, his second in as many years.
