Videogame Vick was a little late arriving for tonight’s NFC East battle against the Giants. No, he wasn’t late to the stadium. The first series, however, was a three-and-out. Haven’t seen that much from the Vick-led Eagles.
Still, it didn’t take long for Vick to again show the nation that he is back to his elusive self and a legit MVP candidate.
He engineered a 13-play, 68-yard drive that ended with a four-yard TD run by the Eagles offensive leader. DeSean Jackson held blocked on the play during which Vick bounced to the outside and found paydirt, giving the Eagles a 7-0 lead.
Through the air, Vick is six-of-nine for 59 yards with two minutes left in the first quarter.
