And the Eagles defenders continue to fall.

Already missing Pro Bowl corner Asante Samuel, the Eagles defense now must finish Sunday’s game against the Cowboys without starting middle linebacker Stewart Bradley. Bradley dislocated his elbow in the second quarter of the game.

The Eagles better hope this doesn’t linger because the defense is much worse without Bradley. A year ago, the team couldn’t cover a tight end and had to bring back Jeremiah Trotter as its “solution.” As much as we all love Trotter, he’s not the stud we remember.

Furthermore, the thoughts of tight ends through the playoffs having a field day against the Eagles isn’t encouraging. Especially not with the Eagles putrid Red Zone defense.
