The stakes don’t get much bigger than this as the regular season winds down and one team will enter with its stud wideout banged up, while the other comes to the stage without its top receiver.
DeSean Jackson, who injured his foot against the Cowboys last week, expects to play. He told reporters today that he feels “so-so.“
The third year wideout from Cal is coming off of a four catch, 200-plus yard effort, including this beauty.
Steve Smith, meanwhile, will undergo season-ending knee surgery due to a cartilage injury. That will take away one weapon from Eli Manning. Couple that with the return of Asante Samuel, and things are not going the Giants way.
