Somewhere in Kentucky, Buddy Ryan is gearing up to watch his pride and joy Rex Ryan try to dismantle the dynasty of the north, the New England Patriots.
However, he also has to be considering disowning the other son, Roby Ryan. Seems that Rob is thisclose to joining the Dallas Cowboys as their new defensive coordinator. Either that, or Buddy did a piss poor job raising his sons and teaching them that nothing good ever came from Dallas.
If the Cowboys-Eagles rivalry was ever more heated than when Buddy coached here, I’d love to know when. From the Bounty Bowls to the pork Chop game, Philly vs. Dallas had it all in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
