Yo, Nats fans, go a little further north and maybe you’ll find a ready rival. The New York Madoffs Mets are in need of a team to battle for last place in the NL East. They might be a bit more up your alley than our Fightins.
If you missed it, Washington Nationals fans, the GM and Jayson Werth have gone out of their way to get our attention in recent weeks. It’s succeeded — for now. Once the season starts, they’ll quickly be an afterthought. Again.
Two weeks ago, a few deranged Nationals fans called Phillies fans lowlifes and were upset that we invaded their ballpark and owned it. They’ve vowed to lead a charge to sell the park out and keep us away.
With crowds like this, it's amazing Phillies fans can even find seats in DC.
Good luck, clowns. The fact is Philly has been selling out YOUR ballpark and football stadium for years. Eagles fans have taken over FedEx Field the last decade. This is nothing new. Glad you finally woke up, though. Welcome to the party.
Following the fans, Nats GM Mike Rizzo said “I hate the (bleeping) Phillies.” He alluded to dirty plays and such by the Phillies. Former Phils all-star Jayson “Show me the Money” Werth added, “I hate the Phillies, too.”
While Rizzo and Werth tried to recant their statements later, the fact is they are trying to get their team in the same sentence as the Phillies.
It’s worked, for now.
Hey, Nats, until you can win 75 games, we don’t care about you. Yeah, we’re not even asking for a .500 record. Just win 75 games, something you have not done since 2005.
Otherwise, we have more parades to chase.

well damn said!!!! GO PHILLIES!!!!! ALL THE WAY!!!!:):)
Philadelphia fans – still a class act. Tourist….
We won 80 games…and you guys had a losing record against us this year….and you epicly choked in the playoffs. great post
Losing record? Beat Phillies four games thsat meant NOTHING to us without half our lineup. That’s more successful than the Phillies? Ummm, OK. We still oVVn your house!
