Eagles fans, your 2011 season (assuming there is one) got one step closer to being cursed via the Madden video game jinx.
Michael Vick has reached the Elite 8 of the ESPN/EA Sports Madden Cover Tournament. The winner will be announced April 25 and will grace the cover of the 2012 game. As has been documented often, the player unlucky enough to be featured has either been injured or watched his team underachieve.
In fact, Vick himself is already a stat in the Madden Jinx Theory, having suffered a broken leg just five games into the season when he was on the 2004 cover.

The fact is, we got your back, MVick, but we don’t want you on the Madden cover.
To reach the Elite 8, Vick — the third seed — has knocked off DeMarcus Ware (14) and Andre Johnson (6). He currently is up against seventh-seeded patrick Willis who upset Hines Ward.

I don’t wish Vick harm. Just that he would step out of the spotlight all together. Let’s not forget Vick tortured and killed dogs for profit and entertainment.
we can not forget it. put we can forgive him and move on i guess you on the other hand have no sins, in which case you can look down on the next man!
All he did was fight a couple of dogs and got caught…loads of people do it everyday and no one says anything about it…so don’t look down on him, admire him for what a tremendous athlete he is.
Not sure if I believe in curses, but let’s not risk it. Let’s play it safe and not vote for Vick.
