It took a few months, but the 2010 Moronic Fan Champion New Yorkers are on the board. Apparently thinking that the 7-1 pounding his team put on the Phillies this night was his cue to celebrate the only good thing to come out of this season, a Mets fan rushed the field at CBP.

Seriously, it’s bad enough that you are a Mets fan and you wear your colors on our turf. Then, you have to run onto the field. Keep that garbage in New york where it belongs.

And, as if that wasn’t bad enough, apparently Baltimore wants to win a title soon, as well. Not to be outdone and wanting to keep pace in the standings, an Orioles fan celebrated the Os home opener of the 2011 season by — what else? Jumping onto the field at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Baltimore pulls into a first place tie with Los Angeles which produced a knife-wielding maniac and a head stomper in the span of a week.
