By now, you’ve all heard that the former college baller Matt Kravchuk who filed a police report because his coach at Holy Family was a bit rough with him was arrested at the Phillies game Wednesday on charges of retail theft for allegedly stealing a couple of beers.
Honestly, I was going to let it go unless he said something hypocritical. Mission accomplished. Take a look at the following video courtesy of NBCPhilaelphia.

He is heard telling reporters, ” I’m a kid in college; stay out of my life.” When asked if he owed the Phils an apology, he continued attacking the media saying, “I think you guys owe me an apology; stay out of my life.”
Ok, Matthew, the reason this is a story is because you CHOSE to become a story this winter when you did the media tour talking about the incident with your coach. You felt you were wronged, wanted action and filed a police report. Nobody can truly fault you for that.
However, the day you granted media interviews, the day you chose to go on national TV is the day you invited the media into your life. It’s a choice you made, now deal with it. We’re all watching you, even when you do stupid college kid stuff. Underage drinking and theft is something that must make Holy Family University proud of you.
Again, this is all the result of the choice you made in trying to attack your former coach through the media. You created your high media profile. And, for someone who refused to accept an apology on national TV from a coach who sounded sincere, you look like a total jackass asking for an apology from the media and telling them to stay out of your life.

Matt is a cry baby that dragged a good coach though the media mud. He needs to grow a set and realize he is living in the real world. The Phillies should make him apologize on National TV to wipe the charges, then turn around and say that they don’t feel it sincere.
