Remember in college when the fire alarm went off and the dormitory had to be evacuated? Know the feeling of someone setting off an alarm in your apartment building and wonder what jackass set it off?
Hunter Pence is THAT guy. The man who became an icon in this city with his phrase,”Let’s go eat,” apparently needs cooking lessons.
Hunter Pence needs to work on his kitchen skills so he can truly yell, "Let's go eat."
From his Twitter account Wednesday morning:
Just set off the fire alarm at my building cooking some bacon…woops
Ah, who am I kidding, it’s funny and ironic at the same time. Honestly, who hasn’t set off the smoke alarm?
Hunter, try the ventilation fan next time. It’ll keep the neighbors happy. Trust me, I know.
As far as the bacon goes, Hunter apparently cooks some mean strips:
The bacon was not burned! It was delicious, thanks.
No word on the Phillies record in games during days in which players set off smoke alarms. And, we don’t think it plays into his WAR.
Props to AllRecipes.com for the video.
