Had this in the inbox for a few days, but the start of another school year (our real mortgage-paying job) got in the way.
The other night, Phillies rookie reliever Mike Stutes engaged in a brief Twitterview with us. The one question he answered dealt with comparing the atmosphere at Citizens Bank park to the rest of the ballparks he’s visited this year. Tweeted Stutes:
“CBP is the loudest, most intense. No comparison. I really love playing there.”
He’ll get nor argument from us. The recent 194-game sellout streak probably has a bit to do with the Phillie frenzy that;s overtaken South Philly.
We hope to get more from Stutes in the future, especially if he takes us up on our cheesesteak offer. You name the time/place, Stutes.
